After graduation from the Veterinary University of Vienna, Linda Weiland worked for three years in two veterinary practices in Luxembourg. With a broad base of knowledge she decided to specalise and completed residency program of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at the University of Ghent, Belgium. She moved to Scotland and worked as Lecturer at the University of Glasgow for two years, before joining Laboratoires Reunis and LLUCS in Junglinster, Luxembourg.

Since 2009 she is the Head of Santé Animale Laboratoire LLUCS in Junglinster as well as working for VAS in BeNeLux. Her main interests are improving the quality of anaesthesia in companion animals and recognizing and treating adequately pain in these species.

She is also an active member of the Luxembourgish Small Animal Association and organizes veterinary conferences in Luxembourg and abroad.
