Dagmar Verdino
Dr.med.vet.
Dagmar holds a Masters as well as a Doctoral Degree from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna. She completed her doctoral thesis on the topic of „Total intravenous anaesthesia in equines“. After a rotating internship in equine medicine, she worked as a clinical anaesthetist at the Clinic for Anaesthesiology and Perioperative intensive Care in Vienna for six years. In 2006 Dagmar left academia to expand her experience and spent several years in the preclinical research division of a large pharmaceutical company before returning to academic research and clinical work when joining the team of VAS in 2015 “rediscovering” her passion for large animal anaesthesia.
In her free time, Dagmar is passionate Capoeirista. She loves to travel – preferably to Brazil – and to spend time with her friends and family.
