The 12-inch multi-color touchscreen monitor covers a full range of clinically necessary anaesthesia monitoring parameters through its modular insertion technology. It can monitor everything from standard anaesthesia monitoring (with ECG, SpO2, NiBp, T, and CO2) to iBP, anaesthesia gas, and O2 measurements, as well as cardiac output using a pulmonary arterial catheter.
Insertion modules can even be changed during operation to ensure seamless monitoring.
The ePM 12 can accommodate 2 single modules or one double module.
Additionally, the ePM12 allows for numerous veterinary practice-oriented settings, such as Minitrends, and has integrated various cutting-edge developments that enhance patient safety (by reducing monitoring troubleshooting and displaying normal value ranges).
To better and faster adapt to needs, up to 25 different preset configurations can be programmed (e.g., Orthopedics versus Ophthalmology versus MRI or CT).
This monitor is available in both small animal and large animal versions, with the NiBp measurement and the ECG having species-specific equipment.
Like all 12-inch monitors from Mindray, the ePM 12 can also be mounted on practical support arms on the anaesthesia device (for both WATO and VETA anaesthesia devices).
The ePM 12M Vet supports advanced parameters with excellent and accurate performance. The innovative CrozFusion technology ensures continuous and stable performance even in the presence of environmental disturbances. This monitor is equipped with high-quality (wall-reinforced) housing and accessories. They are safe, durable, and designed for a long service life.
The device operates without the cooling fan found in most monitoring devices—thus minimizing contamination from, for example, animal hair or dust.
- Modular expandable monitor for monitoring anaesthesia gases, invasive blood pressure, and cardiac output (additional modules can also be purchased later or, if a full version is desired, can already be integrated into the housing).
- Standard version:
a. ECG (3-lead or 5-lead optional, with various analysis options) including Mindray crocodile clips. Multi-Lead analysis algorithm, a patented Mindray exclusive product, allows automatic adjustment of the ECG curve display to the available electrical axis—this reduces the typical need for troubleshooting and the resulting frustration among staff.
b. Respiration (impedance)
c. SpO2 – Algorithm for low perfusion and anti-motion algorithm, extension cable. Again, the ePM12 is a monitor that reduces troubleshooting needs and allows for better focus on the patient. For SpO2 measurement, we offer different sensors for Mindray monitors (from the “normal” clip probe to cuffs and rectal stick probes), which can be selected based on usage (e.g., dentistry) and patient (e.g., very small patients).
d. NIBD: Veterinary-specific algorithm that tolerates weak signals and prevents interference. Includes small and large animal cuffs in all sizes.
e. Temperature (bimetallic probe for continuous esophageal or rectal measurement, and/or skin temperature sensor), available in different sizes.
f. CO2: Artema technology, with 30 years of technical experience, sidestream including a kit for small or large patients: this allows for correct CO2 measurement even up to an AMV of 150 mL (recommended for patients around or under approximately 3 kg).
