VETA 5 has revolutionized ventilation in veterinary medicine! Thanks to its built-in turbine, the device no longer requires a pressurized gas source to perform controlled ventilation. It can be fully operated with only an oxygen concentrator (of course, it can also be used with compressed gases).

Another unique feature is the volume-controlled ventilation range: The VETA 5 allows setting tidal volumes from 5 to 1500 mL. Volume-controlled ventilation can now be adjusted for patients ranging from 0.5 to 150 kg of body weight.

Therefore, the VETA 5 brings controlled ventilation to veterinary practices.

The VETA 5 Plus will be available starting in Summer 2024: this upgrade adds the ability to integrate capnography data from the device itself or from a compatible anaesthesia monitor into the ventilation control. This allows for even better and safer automatic ventilation (VS+ mode).

• Mobile stand device (or wall-mounted)
• Simple operation (the user enters the patient’s weight, and all ventilation parameters are automatically preset to the safe range)
• The device can operate with an oxygen concentrator or compressed gases.
• Easy switch from circle system use to non-rebreathing systems via ACGO switch (as with the WATO devices in the VAS configuration)
• Use of cost-effective PVC breathing systems, including non-rebreathing systems
