
Marta Kantyka

Marta graduated from the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Poland in 2011. Immediately after graduation, she moved to Vienna, where she worked as an anesthesiologist at the University of Veterinary Medicine. In 2013, she pursued a rotation and anesthesia internship at the University of Pennsylvania, one of the top five universities in the United States.
In 2015, she began a residency in anesthesiology and pain therapy at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Zurich, where she also obtained her doctorate (Dr. med. vet.). After completing her residency in 2019, she joined the University of Bern as a clinical lecturer in anesthesiology. In 2021, she successfully passed the European specialty exam, earning the title of Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA).
Marta's primary interests include intensive care and critical care anesthesia. She has recently rejoined the University of Zurich, further advancing her academic and clinical contributions in veterinary anesthesiology. She is passionate about teaching and clinical anesthesiology.
