The HyLED 180 Vet from Mindray is a specialised LED examination and surgical light for the veterinary field.
It provides a brightness of up to 70,000 lux at a distance of 1 metre and allows for 5 levels of light intensity adjustment. For example, lower brightness levels are beneficial during examinations to avoid dazzling the patient and causing adverse reactions. With a colour temperature of 4350K, it achieves colour rendering indices (CRI) of >96/100 for Ra and R9 (CRI >90 is considered excellent).
The antibacterial design helps maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures and reduces the likelihood of contamination in the examination room. Mindray lights are coated with an antibacterial powder coating, which has been shown to reduce bacterial growth.
With a lifespan of up to 60,000 hours, it reduces maintenance efforts.
The light is available in various mounting options, including ceiling, wall, and mobile versions, to meet the specific requirements of different clinical environments. The mobile version provides up to 10 hours of continuous light with a rechargeable battery and is both movable and lockable.
