HotDog – Heating System

• Reusable – environmentally friendly
• The durable polyurethane outer casing is puncture-resistant
• Easy to clean with water and soap (NOT hydrogen peroxide-based cleaning agents)
• Warms up in just a few minutes
• Flexible – can be used over, under, or around the patient
• Includes adjustable straps that can be used to improve contact and heat transfer, so the patient is like a HotDog
• Each heating mat operates at low voltage (about 70 mV), so electric burns are essentially excluded
• Each mat is equipped with a temperature sensor that transmits the current temperature of the mat to the controller

The system is used for the prevention or treatment of hypothermia and for providing warmth to small animal patients. The system should be used in situations where the patients are unable to maintain a state of normothermia.
