HMEs and HME Filters

All sizes: mini/medium/maxi, each with a minimum tidal volume of 35/95/130mL. This means, with an assumed tidal volume of 10mL/kg body weight, this corresponds to a minimum body weight of 3.5/9.5/13 kg.

HME stands for Heat-and-Moisture Exchanger and helps reduce heat and moisture loss during inhalation.
Bacterial and viral ventilation filters serve as an effective barrier to prevent cross-contamination between the patient, ventilation system, equipment, and clinical environment.
They have been independently tested and proven to be highly efficient against bacteria and viruses.
