Why we chose it for locoregional anaesthesia
Two probe connectors on the console, so the linear probe stays mounted for nerve blocks while a second probe stays ready for whatever else the list brings. At 3 kg and 44 mm thick it lives in the block room instead of being wheeled between theatres.
Colour, pulsed-wave and continuous-wave Doppler come as standard, so the same machine covers cardiac and abdominal work on the days it is not doing blocks.
