Sandra Fogal

Dipl TPA, VAT, AVTA

Sandra qualified as a Veterinary Technician in Zürich in 2003. She then worked at the Small Animal Hospital of the University of Berne for three years and gained a special interest in anaesthesia. Sandra specialised at the VASTA and became a Veterinary Anaesthesia Technician (VAT) in 2007. She could put her knowledge to good use when she worked at the University of Liverpool (UK) during an externship, where she also picked up her fascination with local and regional anaesthetic techniques. From 2008 to 2011 she worked as an anaesthesia technician at the University of Melbourne (Australia). Amongst her daily work she especially enjoyed to further her training in anaesthesia for patients with cardiac and pulmonary as well as hepatic diseases. In September 2010, Sandra successfully passed the examination oft he american Academy of Veterinary Technician Anestheists in San Antonio (Texas, USA).

Sandra enjoys surfing, swimming and snowboarding. Spending time with family and friends as well as cat “Hugo” who came all the way from Australia are a part of Sandra’s  daily life.
